Timberline Lodge sits at the base of Mt. Hood's Palmer Snowfield, the only ski area in the U.S. open ten months of the year. The lodge provides ski-to-door access, a dedicated Freestyle Training Center for all abilities, and an on-site ski school for beginners. Guests can rent ski equipment directly at the lodge and use the ski storage and ski pass vendor on site.

Timberline Lodge Oregon has three on-site restaurants: the Cascade Dining Room for fine dining, Ram's Head Bar for casual dining, and the seasonal Blue Ox Bar with pub-style cuisine.
